Brady & Hamilton’s greatest asset is its people, and we’d love to help you get to know them. For this attorney spotlight, we caught up with one of the firm’s newest attorneys, Olivia Womack.

What do you think is the most challenging thing about practicing law?

The work never feels finished. As a recent graduate, law school taught me to leave no stone unturned; but practice is teaching me there are an infinite number of stones. Every case involves a real person with real problems, and that weight makes it difficult to know when to stop. The challenge is learning that perfection can be the enemy of good, and trusting that not every stone needs turning, only the ones that truly matter.

What led you to practice in your expertise?

As a fifth-generation Central Texan, I’ve always understood how deeply land shapes families and communities. My grandfather practiced eminent domain law, and clerking for Brady & Hamilton in the summer of 2024 confirmed that this work was my calling too—I suppose it runs in the family. In Texas, land is legacy, and I’m proud to join a firm that fights tirelessly to protect our clients’ property rights.

Away from work, how do you like to spend your time?

I love the outdoors, whether on the lake, hiking, or fishing! My favorite weekends are spent with family on Lake LBJ, wake surfing and soaking up the Texas sun. When I’m home, I love to cook and draw—two things that help me slow down and clear my head.

What’s your favorite restaurant, and why?

Fixe is always at the top of my list—their biscuits could solve world peace. Ranch 616 never disappoints, with great food and ambiance. Honorable mentions go to Hula Hut, Salt Lick, and Shoal Creek Saloon.

What’s your favorite movie to watch over and over again?

Kicking & Screaming, hands down. Will Ferrell’s caffeinated meltdown over youth soccer always makes me giggle…”No, I’m not yelling. I’m just loud. Loud is how I talk.” On the other side of the spectrum, I’ll also never get tired of The Notebook, and The Princess Bride.
